On Sunday 2nd June 2024, at 3.00pm, members from the various 13 local churches that make up our URC Chiltern Group met for their AGM at Amersham Free Church.
The Revd Terry Hinks, the minister of Trinity, Wycombe, and Corres End URC, and our outgoing Convener led us in opening worship and the first part of the agenda. Terry then handed over to Ian, minister of AFC, who is the incoming Convener (20024/20025) who chaired the rest of the meeting.
We received reports from our churches, reflected on the past year and made plans for the coming one. We also heard from the Revd Eddie Boon, our Synod Discipleship enabler.
The gathering concluded with tea, cakes and fellowship around the tables.
