On Saturday December 14th December 2024 we held our annual Christingle Afternoon.
It was a delight to welcome just under 30 children and their families and friends to the church hall where they heard the story of the original Christingle. It was then their turn to make their own, from kits already prepared and brought to each table.
With Christingles in hand everyone went through to the Sanctuary where we held a service of carols, bible readings and prayers. We 'dressed the crib' together before a procession, in candlelight, around the church, everyone carrying their newly made Christingle.
The afternoon concluded with a welcome plate of sausage and chips for everyone back in the church hall!
