Christingle 2021 at AFC
We were delighted to be able to hold our Christingle Afternoon on Saturday 11th December 2021. Around twenty five children came along in family and community groups.
We had the traditional Christingle story followed by the making of the Christingles by every child.
The Sanctuary at AFC had been decorated for Christmas the week before, so it was a joy to hold the short Christingle service there. We sang carols, 'dressed' the crib and concluded with the hightlight of the afternoon, the candlelight (battery operated!) procession as Christmas music was played. It was a heartwarming moment!
Afterwards it was back to the Church Hall for well deserved sausages in buns.
