Carols by Candlelight 2021
On the Sunday before Christmas, 19th December 2021, at 6.00pm we held our Carols by Candlelight service at AFC.
The church had been decorated beautifully and the choir well rehearsed!
During the evening we sang many of the traditional hymns associated with this time of year and the choir led us in five lovely anthems, old and new. These musical elements were interspursed with bible readings offered by members of the congregation.
Even though we had to forego the traditional time of coffee and mince pies afterwards (because of the devolping Covid wave), it was a super evening full of worship and fellowship.
