The Amersham Free Church Choir has been enriching worship at morning services since about 1990, leading the congregation in the singing of hymns old and new, and more contemporary worship songs. The small but dedicated group now meets to rehearse before around 10am on a Sunday before the service begins.
Occasionally the choir is augmented by singers from other churches or choirs in the area; including for the Candlelight Carols service at Christmas or for special occasions such as the 70th Jubilee for the late Queen Elizabeth II. The choir also joins with that of St. Michael and All Angels for the biannual COTHA services that are held either at St. Michael’s Church, or at AFC.
There are always spare seats in the choir! If you’d like to join then please get in touch with Sara Autton who can give you more information. You will be most welcome.
