Mission Offerings
Every year AFC supports mission and charitable agencies both at home and overseas.
Our biggest support goes to our 'parent' denominations via our General Fund giving. Over recent years we have annually donated £10,000 to the United Reformed Church, £5,000 to the Baptist Union and £5,000 to the Baptist Missionary Society.
In addition we promote a charity every month via our Mission Offering. This is made using specific giving envelopes.
The list of charities is drawn up by our Partnership in Mission Committee, who also regularly present a talk or write an article to support that month's cause. The list is accepted by our Elders' and Church Meetings.
